Pastoral Pearls: Our Job is to Love
Loving God,
Please open my heart to the worthiness of ALL people, and to how my own love can highlight their worthiness.
Please fill my heart with overflowing love, enough for absolutely every person that I see, without picking and choosing.
Relieve me of my desire to decide who is worthy and who is not, for that is not my business.
Equip me with the courage and tools to love even the most seemingly unlovable, for I may be that person in someone else’s eyes.
Thank you for always loving me as I am.
May your Spirit help me to do the same for others.
