Brittany's Place Collection - November

Posted by Suzanne Bernet on

Yes, it has been a while since we have had a supply collection for our friends at Brittany’s Place, our local safe space for young women and girls healing from human trafficking. One important change in procedures for this is that due to COVID restrictions we cannot accept any used items (even if they are in excellent condition). Please ensure that anything you donate is brand new. Thanks for understanding. The collection bins are in their usual place in the Parish Giving Center, just inside the main doors. If you are coming to the in-person Mass on Sunday mornings, you can drop off donations then. If not, the parish doors are open from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. – Noon on Fridays. (If you prefer to make a financial donation instead, please send it to the Parish Office.)

Items especially needed are:

Underwear (including sports bras and bras) of all sizes, socks, PJ’s, yoga pants, sweatshirts, slippers, hats and gloves, hair binders, personal care products (including shampoo/conditioner for Black hair), arts and crafts items.

Other items: Bath towels, school supplies, gift cards, chapstick, earrings, movies, books, games, backpacks, journals, snacks, etc.
