Security During Mass
A Note from Father Connelly
Dear friends,
I want to reassure you that we take the safety of everyone at Mass very seriously. As part of our security measures, the side entrances and the doors to the lower level are locked shortly after Mass begins. This helps ensure that our church remains a safe and peaceful place of worship.
Several parishioners have asked whether we might also lock the main doors during Mass. After careful consideration, we have decided not to do so. The doors of the Church should always remain open to anyone who arrives late, to visitors, or to those who, for whatever reason, may come seeking God during the liturgy.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us maintain both safety and a spirit of welcome at Guardian Angels.
— Fr. Joe
