Health and Wellness Corner: February is Heart Month
February is “Heart Month” brought to us by the American Heart Association which reminds us to lose weight, exercise, eat better, control blood pressure, blood sugar and blood cholesterol plus get plenty of sleep and manage stress. All wonderful, important, and more than challenging... right!? Each of us has had more and less success at all that advice!
But, this February, let’s focus on the other important aspect of our heart health, LOVE. We have the incredible example of love demonstrated through the heart of Jesus. Also, St. Paul in his letter to the Corinthians gives us a “checklist” to help.
This February, take 3 minutes at every meal to think about how you are succeeding at Love AND steps to demonstrate your Love of others:
