Apostolic Blessing from the Holy Father
Guardian Angels Parish has received an Apostolic Blessing from Pope Leo, bestowed upon Fr. Joe Connelly and our parish. An Apostolic Blessing is a special prayer and blessing given by the Holy Father, invoking God’s grace upon a person or community and uniting us in a particular way to the prayer of the Pope and the Church throughout the world.
This blessing is a reminder of our communion with the universal Church and of the Holy Father’s pastoral care for the faithful, even at the local parish level. We are grateful for this sign of spiritual encouragement and support.
This Apostolic Blessing was given to our parish as a gift from Eric and Ana Klofstad, and we are thankful for their generosity and thoughtfulness. A framed parchment of the Apostolic Blessing is on display in the Holy Family Room, and parishioners are warmly invited to stop by and view it.
