Guardian Angels in partnership with Open Cupboard will host our first Community Meal Event for the homeless, those in need of a hot meal and those who are searching for community Saturday, April 13 after the 4:30 p.m. mass in Peter O’Neill Hall.
Homelessness and people with food insecurity are real in our community. In 2022, Open Cupboard had about 700,000 individuals using their programs. Guardian Angels wants to do our part in supporting the local community to offer this much needed program.
The first dinner will be catered, most likely pasta, salad, beverages and dessert. We will need volunteers to support the event as greeters, set up, servers, table bussers, and clean up. This would be a wonderful opportunity to serve as an individual or as a family!
