A Note from Father Joe: Parish Synod Leadership
Dear friends,
We are now entering the final year of the Archdiocese Synod. This has been a wonderful time for the faithful of the Archdiocese to help Archbishop Hebda meet the needs and govern our community.
As we enter the final year of the Synod you can play a vital role in helping the Archdiocese by becoming a Parish Synod Leadership Member. By becoming a member of this team, you will play an important role of helping the Archbishop and the Archdiocese.
Members of the synod team are asked to do the following:
Parish Consultation: If you were unable to attend any of the 6 Parish Consultation sessions, please watch the videos and review the materials for those sessions. The videos and materials can be found at: www.archspm.org/parishleadership.
Attend Orientation Session: Attend one of the 13 virtual Orientation sessions offered:
- Thursday, February 17: 10:00-11:00 a.m. , 1:00-2:00 p.m., 7:00-8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, February 19: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, February 22: 10:00-11:00 a.m., 1:00-2:00 p.m., 7:00-8:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 23: 10:00-11:00 a.m., 1:00-2:00 p.m., 7:00-8:00 p.m.
- Thursday, February 24: 10:00-11:00 a.m., 1:00-2:00 p.m., 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Review Materials: Read the preparation materials that will be provided at the Orientation Session. Please also review the Year 3 Synod Overview and Infographic, which can be found at www.archspm.org/parishleadership.
Attend the Parish Synod Leadership Team Consultation on Saturday, March 5 here at Guardian Angels (expected time commitment 5 1/2 hours)
