Administrative Assistant

HJH is seeking a part time Administrative Assistant to support the Director in daily operations, volunteer coordination, data management and supporting our faith partners during each communities weeks of service. HJH needs additional weekend staff (6-15 hours per weekend) on a rotating basis. You would work with volunteers to respond to family needs and create a welcoming place for our shelter guests. We seek someone who has a heart for supporting our guest families and who believes in hospitality for everyone in the shelter. The job description includes light meal preparation, occasional housekeeping, and welcoming volunteers. College students are encouraged to apply, especially those in social or human services field.
