Sacraments
Baptism - All parents requesting to have their children baptized at Guardian Angels Church, must be associated with the Parish Community and attend a Baptism preparation session before the schedule date of Baptism. Please contact Sue Dwuznik at 651-730-7450 with questions.
First Eucharist- Eucharist is the Church’s most important act of praise and thanksgiving to God, and it’s greatest sign of unity. Please contact Nancylee Jonza 651-738-2223 Ext. 145 email: njonza@guardian-angels.org for more information.
First Reconciliation - As disciples of Jesus we are called to love God, our neighbor and ourselves, and to help bring a about God’s Kindgom here on earth. When we fail to love and serve others, we need forgiveness and reconciliation with God, others and self. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is the special means of experiencing God’s love and forgiveness. Please contact Nancylee Jonza 651-738-2223 Ext. 145 email: njonza@guardian-angels.org for more information.
Confirmation - Our goal is to make Confirmation preparation available for anyone who desires this Sacrament. A participant in the program has to be in the ninth grade or older. We welcome students, adults, anyone who has previously received the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist. Our program is “continuous” you may enter it at any time. To enter our program, you need to register and you need a sponsor. After you register, you and your sponsor attend our four Confirmation Preparation Sessions. You may take the sessions in any order. We also ask that you attend a retreat. Once you have completed these steps, the Confirmation coordinator or a parishioner will meet with you to conclude the preparation process with an interview. Finally, we will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Cathedral in St. Paul. Please contact Heidi Tousignant 651-738-2223 ext. 137 or heidi@guardian-angels.org for more information.
Marriage - We believe that marriage is a lifelong commitment. When a man and a woman pledge their love, they share Jesus Christ’s love with each other and carry out God’s plan that the two shall become one. Marriage is not a brief celebration on a certain day at a specific time. It is the work of a lifetime that requires special training and preparation. At Guardian Angels Church, a couple begins marriage preparation at least nine months prior to their wedding date. Click here for the Wedding handbook. To schedule a wedding date or for more information, please contact Deacon Terry Beer.
Holy Orders - Please contact Fr. Bil Martin or Fr. Stan Maslowski.
Anointing of the Sick - Please contact Fr. Bill Martin or Fr. Stan Maslowski.
