Volunteer Angel Award Nominations

December 7, 2009

1. GA Staff and Stewardship Commission Members are not eligible for nomination

2. Nominations can be made by anyone. They must include reason for nomination

and details of time and talent service provided. Nominations must be received by the end of the month preceding Angel News publication. (Jan, April, July and Oct)

3. Nominations will be reviewed by the Stewardship Commission and a winner  

will be chosen by consensus vote. If a family member of someone on the commission is nominated for the award, that relative on the commission will not vote in that election.

4. People can be nominated more than once.

5. The winner will be notified before their name and award is published in the GA Angel News.

6. All winners will also be nominated for Sainted Section of the St. Paul Pioneer Press and for the WCCO Good Neighbor Award.

7. The winner’s name will be put on the Volunteer Angel Plaque in Church and they will get a special parking spot for the next 3 months.
